On Dec. 9 in Leawood, Kan., Vice President of Strategic Communications Andrew L. Seidel spoke to the Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah, addressing the history of church-state separation and religious freedom. On Dec. 11, Seidel addressed AU’s Nashville Chapter in a speech titled “Tennessee: Tip of the Sword of Christian Nationalism. What Can We Do?”
In Washington, D.C., on Dec. 13, AU Associate Vice President of Public Policy Dena Sher spoke at the annual Consultation on Conscience.

On Jan. 13 AU Staff David Carter, Asher Morse, Rachael Stryer, Alessandro Terenzoni, Mariel Montero, and Alyssa Aldape rallied for transgender rights in front of the U.S. Supreme Court in Washington, D.C., during two notable cases — Little v. Hecox and West Virginia v. B.P.J. — that will collectively determine whether public school and collegiate transgender athletes have the right to be included in school sports.
