More than 3,000 people attended Americans United’s Feb. 13 webinar on the documentary “God & Country,” which exposes the threat of Christian Nationalism.
The event was a smashing success, but we understand that some folks had scheduling conflicts and weren’t able to attend (or that some attendees might want to look at it again), so here’s some good news: You can watch the webinar online!
The webinar featured Dan Partland, the director of “God & Country”; Dr. Jemar Tisby, New York Times bestselling author and professor of history at Simmons College of Kentucky; Andrew L. Seidel, constitutional attorney, author and vice president for strategic communications at Americans United; Katherine Stewart, journalist and author of The Power Worshippers: Inside the Dangerous Rise of Religious Nationalism, on which “God & Country” is based; and myself. AU president and CEO Rachel Laser served as host and introduced clips from an interview she did with actor/filmmaker Rob Reiner, producer of “God & Country.”
We had a lively, informative discussion followed by a question-and-answer session. You’re definitely going to want to check it out.
