Nakia Anthony is excited to be apart of Americans United. She brings many years of HR, Payroll, Labor Relations and recruiting experience to AU. Prior to joining the team, Nakia worked for local government, higher-education, healthcare, corporate, retail, and international nonprofit organizations, where she coordinated open enrollment plans, addressed employee issues, implemented DEI initiatives, and trained and guided team members on HR processes.
Nakia is a native of DC, attending Takoma Elementary and Banneker Senior High. She attended Saint Peter’s University (then College) on a full academic scholarship and obtained her B.S. in Business Management. She went on to earn her PHR and SHRM-CP.
Nakia is excited to support AU with all current and future endeavors with her numerous years of professional experience as a guide.
