As this issue of Church & State was going to press, the Trump administration released a series of proposed regulations governing “faith-based” programs in nine federal agencies.

Americans United criticized the rules, asserting that they strip vulnerable people of important protections. They may also subject people in these programs to unwanted religious proselytism.

Americans United is conducting a full analysis of the proposed regulations. Look for more information in the March issue of Church & State.
