From the beginning, it was clear that the Religious Right’s only concern was to push Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination through. Prof. Christine Blasey Ford, and by extension the other women who were empowered to come forward with their stories of sexual assault, meant nothing to them.
Brett Kavanaugh held two positions in the White House from 2001-06. It’s quite possible that in those jobs he offered opinions on issues that might come before the high court. It would be illustrative to know if he was involved in controversial Bush-era programs like the Office of Faith-Based Initiatives and Charitable Choice.
