Americans United is proud to introduce the winners of the 2020 Student Essay Contest, which asked students to reflect on why religious freedom and the separation of religion and government are important to them, their peers, their families and their communities.

Americans United has announced that it is accepting submissions for its 2019 student essay contest.

Americans United's 2019 Student Essay Contest asks high school juniors and seniors to write about how young people can counter attacks on church-state separation and attempts to misuse religious freedom to justify discrimination against the LGBTQ community, women, religious minorities and the nonreligious.
