Dr. Katy Harriger, Professor in the Department of Politics and International Affairs at Wake Forest University, has agreed to speak to us on “Executive Overreach”. This is another program not directly related to mainstream AU issues, but in these unusual times our Board agrees it is helpful to process all that our country has had to face in such a short span of time.

Our scheduled program will be one day after the Inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden, and some of us think the past president has extended executive privilege far beyond what is normal and even democratic. Of course there are others who would disagree. The subject is so important we do need to have a discussion, and we thank Dr. Harriger for contributing to that discussion.
