Become a member of AU's Madison Society monthly giving program by setting up automated credit card gifts. Your monthly support will enable us to make plans with confidence, knowing we can count on your regular and steadfast support. If you don't want to donate online, please email us for a form that you can print, complete and mail to us to set up an automatic withdrawal from your bank account.)
Your generous donation of $1,000 or more will qualify you as an AU Guardian of Freedom, one of a select group of colleagues who have joined together with a common purpose - to defend America's legacy of religious freedom.
With your annual contribution of $500 or more, you will qualify for AU's special mid-level giving program and will provide critical support for the church-state wall.
Giving someone a gift subscription to Church & State magazine is a great way to help AU financially and share our work with others.
Make a tribute donation to Americans United to honor a special person or event. You can direct us to notify someone about your contribution, or ask that your gift remain anonymous.
Because incoming stock transfers do not contain donor information, it is critical that you notify AU when considering or making a donation of stock. Please email Rebecca Davis-Nord, AU's Asst. Development Director, for stock transfer instructions and to let us know about your gift so that we may track it and thank you in a timely manner.
A planned gift is any gift other than an outright gift of cash, with a financial benefit both to Americans United and to you. Examples include a bequest, a charitable remainder trust, a charitable gift annuity and a beneficiary designation of an insurance policy or IRA. We can provide information and guidance on any aspect of planned giving by email, telephone or through a personal visit.
Use Employer Matching
If your employer sponsors a corporate matching gifts program, your contribution to AU may be eligible to be doubled or tripled. Find out more from your HR or personnel department or contact AU's Development Department by email for more information. If you have a form from your employer, complete your portion and mail it to AU Development Department (address at the bottom of this page) along with or after making your contribution, and we'll take care of the rest.
