Americans United’s National Advocacy Summit will run Sept. 14-15 as a virtual, online event.

The Summit was originally scheduled for March but had to be canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak. It has now been rescheduled and will take place online.

The event will feature the same great line-up of speakers. Americans United President and CEO Rachel Laser will offer a keynote address, along with literary journalist Jeff Sharlet, author of two books on the Fellowship Foundation (aka “The Family”), a secretive Religious Right group that enjoys great influence in the nation’s capital. (Sharlet also served as executive producer of a Netflix series based on his books.)

The event will also feature a musical performance by singer/songwriter Scarlett Rabe and panel sessions on current church-state issues. You’ll even have an opportunity to interact with your member of Congress or their staff through virtual visits.

Congress needs to hear from you!

Urge your legislators to co-sponsor the Do No Harm Act today.

The Do No Harm Act will help ensure that our laws are a shield to protect religious freedom and not used as a sword to harm others by undermining civil rights laws and denying access to health care.
