Rev. Barry W. Lynn will be in Greenville, SC, on Saturday, February 16, to help our chapter celebrate its 10th Anniversary. The title of Barry's presentation is “Three 800 Pound Gorillas Enter the Church-State Arena: And it’s No Joke.” The three Gorillas he will discuss are: (1) Church Electioneering, (2) Faith-based Initiatives, and (3) Reproductive Rights. The event takes place at Greenville Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 1135 State Park Road, Greenville, SC 29609 Can’t make it Saturday to Greenville? Then plan to be in Spartanburg on Sunday, when Barry will address the Unitarian Universalist Church of Spartanburg. The Sunday Service begins at 11:00 AM, at 210 Henry Place, Spartanburg, SC 20306. Barry will speak to the UUCS Congregation and guests about “Religious Liberty: When Words Lose Their Meaning.” Many thanks to both the Greenville UU Fellowship and the Spartanburg UU Church for allowing AU to meet in their sanctuaries and helping us promote to their Congregations and their Communities our message of the importance of Church-State Separation.
