Ms. Husain discussed education and the arts, the role of women, and the separation of church and state, and other topics related to Islam during her presentation.  "The main point of the evening was to expose our membership to a different world view," said Chapter President Eric Lane.

About 30 people attended the presentation, in which Ms. Husain fielded questions on a range of issues, including the nature of conflicts in the tribal region and the relative willingness of Muslim countries to nurture creativity and the arts.
