Recent political changes and the resurgence of the Religious Right have led some to ask if the "culture wars" are back. Truth be told, they never went away--and they are only likely to intensify. In this talk, Boston will discuss the political agenda of the Religious Right, explain how the "Tea Party" movement fits in and offer thoughts on which issues will become prominent in 2011 and beyond.
He'll also discuss how the changing face of American religion and culture might affect these issues in the years to come - and what we can do now to defend the church-state wall.
The event will take place at 7:15 PM on Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at the First Unitarian Church, 220 Winton Road South, Rochester, 14610. Boston's talk is free and open to the public. For more information contact: email@example.com.
