The Orange County chapter’s January 13th event is a screening of God in America: Of God and Caesar.  This episode of “God in America” explores the religious and political aspirations of conservative evangelicals’ moral crusade over divisive social issues.  The film will give us the opportunity to discuss where we are today on the religious front following the election and how much the wall of separation of church and state is honored.  We will discuss the focus of religion by both parties and what it means for the future. We all look forward to a spirited discussion to get the year off to a good start. There is no charge for the film and come early for a good seat and socializing and snacks. The event takes place on Sunday January 13th at 1:30 PM, at the Irvine Ranch Water District Community Room, 15500 Sand Canyon Avenue, Irvine.  There is no charge for this event.  Doors open at 1:00 for snacks and socializing; seating is on a first-come, first-seated basis. For more information visit the Orange County AU web site at*Irvine Ranch Water District neither supports nor endorses the cause nor activities of organizations which use the District’s meeting rooms that are made available as a public service.
