Americans United's Indiana Chapter, along with co-sponsor the Center for Inquiry Indiana, hosted the second annual Indiana Civic Day, on February 9.
Rob Boston, Senior Policy Analyst with Americans United in DC, spoke on the topic "Religious Freedom: What It Is and What It Is Not." AU's Eddie Tabash, Chair of AU's Legal Committee and on the Board of Trustees, spoke on the topic of "The Nonbeliever and Equality Before the Law."
Indiana Civic Day covered important issues of the day including reproductive rights, LGBT rights, along with church-state separation issues like school vouchers and the state of science education in Indiana. Participants left the discussions better prepared to meet with elected officials.
Congratulations on an excellent event!
