Americans United Has A New Action Network. You Should Join It.

  Rob Boston

President Joe Biden has been in office just over one week, but he has already taken several steps to support religious freedom and church-state separation. Biden issued an executive order overturning the Trump’s administration’s Muslim Ban, buttressed LGBTQ rights and did away with the offensive 1776 Commission, an attempt to distort history and promote bogus “Christian nation” mythology.

Biden is making a difference. What about you? True, you lack the power of the Oval Office, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have a voice. Far from it. Americans like you show up to defend our rights and liberties every day – and even actions that may seem small can have substantial ripple effects.

So how can you help Americans United support church-state separation? One thing you can do today is join AU’s new Action Network. When you join the network, we’ll keep you informed about concrete actions you can take in your community and opportunities to be a more effective advocate.

We’re not going to overwhelm you with email. About 6-12 times per year, we’ll send you a message with specific actions you can take or perhaps an invitation to a special briefing or a meeting. When you see “AU-AN” in the subject, you’ll know the message is from the AU Action Network. Read it and take whatever actions are right for you.

Sign up here. We look forward to helping you get active!

Congress needs to hear from you!

Urge your legislators to co-sponsor the Do No Harm Act today.

The Do No Harm Act will help ensure that our laws are a shield to protect religious freedom and not used as a sword to harm others by undermining civil rights laws and denying access to health care.
