Sarah Jones is a Communications Associate at Americans United.
Prior to joining AU, she volunteered for Femin Ijtihad, where she researched Islamic law and women’s rights, and interned with the Three Faiths Forum in London, England. Her coverage and analysis of world political and religious news has been published in the Guardian, Religion News Service, OnFaith and others. She has also been profiled in The New York Times for her church/state activism. She holds a Master of Arts in Postcolonial Culture and Global Policy from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Bible from Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. She has also presented original research in religious movements and postcolonial theory at the London School of Economics and Florida Atlantic University. Sarah is originally from Bristol, Va.
