Principal of Organizing, re:power

Kaissa was born in Washington, DC to immigrant parents from Haiti and Rwanda. Kaissa is a Campaign Strategist, Trainer, and Facilitator with 10+ years experience managing  campaigns and programs around reproductive rights, health equity, and youth engagement. Currently she is the Principal of Organizing at re:power, formerly Wellstone Action, where she supports national, state, and local organizations build out organizing campaigns through a race gender class lens via skills training and strategic planning facilitation.  Before she came to re:power, she managed the ACA campaign at Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Kaissa also has extensive experience in designing assessments for race equity initiatives at non-profits and in-person and online trainings on racial and gender equity. Kaissa graduated from Clark Atlanta University with honors and completed her Masters in Public Policy with a double concentration in Economics and International Relations. In her free time, she loves to travel the world on error fares and play with her beloved Chihuahua, Chico.
