Brittany Pfister currently serves as the Interim Chief Development Officer at Americans United for Separation of Church and State, and most recently served as the Senior Director of Major Gifts.
Before coming to AU, Brittany served as Senior Director of Leadership Gifts & Foundation Relations at People For the American Way (PFAW).
Prior to her six years at PFAW, Brittany served as Finance Operations Director at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) and has worked in development for an international conservation organization, the American Association for Justice (AAJ) and served as Deputy Finance Director on a congressional campaign in her home state of North Carolina.
Brittany holds an English degree from Appalachian State University. She is also a 200-hour Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher and serves on the board of her local farmer’s market. Brittany resides in Maryland with her husband and their dog, Charley.
