She/her

Nicole Shea Niebler is the Major Gifts Officer at Americans United for Separation of Church and State.

Prior to AU, Nicole Shea served as the Development Manager at Rewire News Group where she strategically fundraised across intersections of reproductive justice, journalism, and inclusive narrative change. Earlier in her career, she directed development and operations at nonprofits focused on increasing public school funding and food security.

Nicole Shea has been a brave proponent for the separation of church and state for as long as she can recall. While earning her Bachelors of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she won the Thomas Jefferson Student Activist award from the Freedom From Religion Foundation and created an allied discussion series with the secular and Catholic student organizations on campus.
