Ever since Americans United was founded in 1947, our mission and vision has been informed by and sensitive to the perspectives of religious leaders and people of faith. Progressive people of faith must have a voice in the national dialogue on the separation of church and state. Where church and government intersect legislatively, politically and in the public square, it is essential that all voices, both religious and secular, be included in the discussion.
We are committed to reaching out and engaging people of faith and religious leaders who are concerned about the role of religion in our political and public lives. Please take the time to offer your insight and opinions. Download and use these materials in your local and faith communities.
