Stephen Baldwin is the executive director of the Council for National Policy (CNP), a powerful coalition of religious and secular far-right groups.  The CNP meets regularly to share information and plot strategy. The organization shuns publicity. It does not maintain a Web site, and its gatherings are not usually open to the media.

Baldwin, not to be confused with the actor of the same name, is a former member of the California Assembly. He is coauthor of a book titled From Crayons to Condoms: The Ugly Truth About America’s Public Schools.
