Numerous federal court rulings have made it clear that public schools cannot sponsor the distribution of religious literature or allow outside groups to come onto the campus to pass out religious material. Public schools must not sponsor events by evangelistic groups or give these organizations access to students. Allowing outside groups to preach to students during the school day is a serious violation of parental rights.
